PSYMBIOTE: EXPLORING THE CYBORG BODY

The Psymbiote Project is an exploration in creative cybernetics. Part experimental apparatus and part performance persona, Psymbiote inhabits the eye of the storm: the conceptual terrain where body collides with machine, mutating identity through transformation of the body. Her appearance in public spaces stimulates dialogue about the future of technological extensions to the body, and highlights the contemporary critical discourse surrounding cyborgs and all human/technology integration.
