SWARM PAINTINGS

ArtSBot (Artistic Swarm Robots) consists of a set of autonomous robots able to collectively generate original paintings based on randomness, positive feedback, stigmergy and emergence. Stemming from the behavior of ants, which use pheromones to evolve a singular mode of indirect communication (stigmergy), I have instead used color as a stimulus for the ant-like robots.
