Art and Science in the Post-Biological Age
The National Centre for Contemporary Arts
(Kaliningrad Branch, Russia) presents a collection of documentaries about artworks recently created using the latest 21st Century technologies: ALife, robotics, bio and genetic engineering, etc. Assembled in 2008, this is today the largest video collection of contemporary techno-biological art in Russia or abroad. The collection was premiered in the framework of the IX MediaForum 2008 – one of the official programs of the XXX Moscow International Film Festival
(MIFF).
