Stephen Wilson (b.1944, St. Louis, USA)
Artist, researcher, art theorist. Graduated from the Chicago School of the Art Institute
(MFA, Art and Technology/Performance). In 1972 obtained his PhD degree from the University of Chicago, Department of Educational Psychology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Creates installations focused on science and emerging technologies ranging from interactive media and telecommunications to art and biology. Author of such projects as

(1993, Austria). Currently is Professor in the Department of Art at the San Francisco State University
