This part includes biographical data based on the artists participating in the project. Apart from general information such as the date and place of birth, education and artistic practice of each project participant, the biographies also feature the main publications, exhibitions, festivals and conferences in which he/she has participated. The participants' biographies provide a factual and cultural significance: when becoming acquainted with the participants' biographies, a reader can obtain general information based on the relationship between contemporary art and technology including goals, tasks, main events and tendencies. To simplify the overwhelming mention of book titles, exhibitions and events, each of these are given in the artists' mother tongue. The participants' biographies are composed according to the same principle (in individual cases some data is not included at the authors' request) and given in alphabetical order. The information obtained for this publication came directly from each artist and is available for consultation in the National Centre for Contemporary Art Archive (Kaliningrad, Russia).
